Historic Victory for Pakistan Women as Fatima Sana and Batsmen Shine in First-Ever T20I Win Against New Zealand

 In a historic achievement, Pakistan's women's cricket team secured their maiden T20I victory against New Zealand in Dunedin, propelled by an exceptional performance from bowler Fatima Sana and a collective effort from the batting lineup.

Sana continued her stellar bowling, claiming Kate Anderson in the eighth over and trapping Suzie Bates in front in the tenth, restricting New Zealand to 59 for 3. Sana conceded only 18 runs in her four overs.

While Sophie Devine and Maddy Green attempted a recovery, Aliya Riaz removed Devine for an 17-ball 11, and Nida Dar dismissed Georgia Plimmer in the 16th over.

Green and Rowe added 28 runs off 24 balls, pushing New Zealand's total past 100. Green, with an unbeaten 43, guided New Zealand to set a target of 128 for Pakistan.

Historic Victory for Pakistan Women:In the chase, Pakistan's openers, Muneeba Ali and Shawaal Zulfiqar, built a steady foundation, scoring 30 runs in the powerplay.

However, Devine broke the partnership in the ninth over, dismissing Muneeba for 23. Zulfiqar and Dar continued the pursuit, contributing 41 and 23 runs, respectively.

With 35 runs required off 38 balls, Riaz and Maroof formed a crucial fourth-wicket partnership, adding 39 runs off 28 balls to guide Pakistan to victory with 10 balls to spare.

Riaz sealed the historic win by hitting a six off Jess Kerr in the 19th over, marking Pakistan's first-ever T20I triumph against New Zealand.
